Join the Parish Community of St. Edward for a very special opportunity to slow down, encounter the Lord, and allow Him to transform you this Lent! The Lenten Parish Mission will focus on the spiritual pillars of Lent – Prayer, Fasting, and Almsgiving and their ability to transform us!
What is a Parish Mission?
A Parish Lenten Mission is a series of special pastoral events over several days, which provide opportunities for increased spiritual nourishment and growth – all while participating in the sacraments, which point toward the major themes of the Lenten Season! The Parish Mission is ultimately designed to remind us of God’s love for us!
Why Participate in a Parish Mission?
Spending time with Jesus through prayer, reflection, and the sacraments are excellent ways to encounter the Lord this Lent!
Who should participate in the Parish Mission?
All are welcome – Catholics and those curious about the Catholic faith are all welcomed! You are encouraged to bring a friend, or a few!
