This means that parents and legal guardians are encouraged and empowered to bring the faith alive at home. Through resources provided, families are encouraged to explore faith themes at home that go hand in hand with what is discussed during formation sessions.
Family-focused
This means that our models will keep the family together instead of splitting our formation day and time between age and grades. We want formation to be an experience that leads all members of the family closer to the Sacred Heart of Jesus Christ.
Accompaniment
Pope Francis speaks of this quite often. It is important to recognize that while we all have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ, we do not walk the path that leads to heaven alone. Ministry leaders (catechists and small group leaders as well as staff members) are here to get to know you, offer support and encouragement, and create a space where families feel welcome, known, and loved.
