April 11, 2017The gospel of John tells us that Jesus posed the question, “What are you looking for?” (John 1:38) to his first apostles. Of course, we know that this question was also meant for every would-be follower of Christ. At St. Edward, this question is at the heart of our ministry and worship.
If you are looking for a place to worship the goodness and beauty of God, come and see our liturgical celebrations. Our church building and attached Sacred Heart Chapel bear witness to the faith and commitment of our people, whose prayers and sacrifices made them possible.
If you are looking for a place for your children to grow in their love and knowledge of the Lord, come and see our highly rated Catholic school and religious education programs. We educate a thousand children and youth each year through Catholic education, faith formation, and sacramental preparation programs.
If you are looking for a place to enrich and mature your faith, come and see the adult faith formation programs we offer. Come closer to Christ through our many weekly bible studies, annual men’s and women’s retreats, young adult ministry, and special events throughout the year.
Finally, if you are looking for a spiritual home where you can share your gifts and talents, come and see how we serve others. Whether it is music, spiritual growth, hospitality, working with youth, or visiting the sick, our parish ministries are as diverse as our parishioners.
