Dear Parishioners,
The celebration of Mother's Day is one of the most special days that we celebrate worldwide. All of us have mothers - biological or adoptive. Our mother was our first home as we developed inside her womb. Our mother's embrace was the first embrace we experienced when we were born. Our mother was our first source of nourishment as we depended on her to feed us. Our mothers truly are life givers - instruments used by God to bring to life His people - a great honor that men can never completely have. To all mothers for saying "yes," for all of the mothering you have given and are still giving - thank you very much. Words of gratitude and thanksgiving can never fully express the gratitude that I have for my own mother and all the mothers all over the world, but for whatever it is worth ... thank you very much.
Congratulations to our First Communicants! We are happy to celebrate with our first Communicants and their families. We pray that you will continue to grow in faith and love as disciples of Jesus.
To all the mothers in our parish community and all over the world, Happy Mother's Day!
