Hall monitors are best described as first responders. On a good day, they sit on a chair in the hall and monitor the hallway activity as well as who comes in and out of the building during the formation session. They assist picking up the attendance and work closely with the staff during the opening and closing procedures for the buildings used during the formation session.
In case of an emergency, hall monitors are the first to respond. They have immediate access to the first aid kit, emergency contact information for all children on campus, and have the coordinators' cell phone saved so that they can be informed of the emergency at the time.
Hall monitors are adults who can handle stress gracefully and embrace a slow paced faith formation session!
Training and formation will be provided on Wednesdays during the month of September and throughout the year. Click here for information on training!
